8 Hours on Romantic Santa Catalina Island

Santa Catalina Island is a great getaway, only 22 miles away from the mainland in California, USA. It is part of the Los Angeles county, and Avalon. There is not one traffic light on the island! Bring good walking shoes, sunscreen, and fashionable shades.

Got 8 hours?
Here are fun ways to spend them on
Santa Catalina Island:

Hour 1

Go jet skiing! Put on your bikini, and take your own water tour around the island. See things from a different perspective, and make mental notes of places where you’d like to stop when you’re back on land.

Hour 2

Take a tour boat ride. Try a catamaran, or a group tour. What a great way to sit back and relax as someone else mans the steering wheel!

Hour 3

Walk around the marina. Admire the beautiful boats – the racers, sailboats, and yachts. Stroll around, maybe make a new friend to take you for a ride!
