Smartphone Device Charging Lockers at Disney World

Disney is about to begin a test of a new service at the Magic Kingdom.  Beginning tomorrow and running through the summer, they will have Brightbox Device Charging Locker stations available for Guest use.  As shown in the first photo below, they are already installed at Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Cafe and in the Tomorrowland Light and Power Company (the arcade/gift shop at Space Mountain) and will begin service on Friday, April 25th.  As of now, and through testing, the service will be free.  You swipe a credit card which will act as your key, but there is no charge.  You attach your phone, lock the door and come back when the indicator light on the door indicates the charge is complete.  You then swipe your card again to open the door.  If testing is successful, Disney plans to install these lockers at all the Theme Parks at Disney World.  There has been no announcement on whether a cost will be charged at that time, they do charge $2 for the service at Disneyland currently.
