Calling All Creative Writers for Duval County Schools


Calling All Creative Writers!!

Students are encouraged to submit creative writing pieces for inclusion in the
program of the first-ever  “Celebration of the Arts”


A Duval County Public Schools district-wide showcase for the Arts to be held
at the Times-Union Center on May 18, 2016.

The theme for submissions is “Lift Ev’ry Voice.”

For consideration, student work of 1,500 words or less (minimum of 50 words),
should be submitted with entry form (found at via

Deadline is April 1, 2016.



Creativity and Innovative Thinking

The submitted work can be of any genre and this opportunity is open to all
students who attend Duval County Public Schools.

Each submission will be evaluated by a team of writing experts and
student authors of accepted works will be notified of inclusion
in program.
